SEM SOCIETA COOPERATIVA SOCIALE

SEM Social Cooperative is a non-profit company founded in 1998 by a group of ECEC operators and professionals with the aim to pursue the general interest of the community in the promotion of children's cultural and social development through the organization of education and care services able to really fulfilled the needs of children and working parents.
Currently, it operates, as a private ECEC provider, under an agreement with the municipalities of Marsciano and Monte Castello di Vibio, located in a rural area of Umbria region, with 3 nurseries with a total receptivity of approximately 85 children.

Since 2002, it has developed in partnership with FORMA.Azione, several vocational training courses addressing youth graduated aiming at becoming ECEC educators and carers as well as professionals already working in the sector.
​
Since 2007, SEM has been certified its quality management system in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001. It has also developed several projects in partnership with local policy-makers and relevant stakeholders, promoting activities in the territory aiming at increasing their involvement as community actors in facilitating children's education and social development.

FORMA.Azione is a VET provider founded in 1997. In 2003, it became an Accredited Regional Training Centre, and since 2002, FORMA.Azione is ISO 9001 Certified, for designing and provision of vocational training and Adult learning services.

FORMA.Azione's specific competences are in the Training Cycle (training needs analysis, designing, provision, administration and financial reporting, evaluation and review) and public funds scouting to apply for, as lead applicant and/or partner for other entities. Its most successful areas of work are: Quality Assurance in VET and Adult Learning, Media and Information Literacy, Digitalisation, Active Citizenship, Gender Equality, Career Guidance, Creative and Culture Industries (CCIs) and Early Childhood educators and carers professional training. It works with public funding at the national and European level, namely from Ministries of Culture, Social Policies, Family, ESF, EAFRD, ERASMUS+, RE-CERV, AMIF, and Interprofessional funds for re-skilling/up-skilling.

Since its beginning, more than 10500 learners have been trained towards different professional profiles and systems of competences and more than 600 teachers and trainers have provided their lessons.

Lithuanian Education and Science Trade Union – LESTU (Lietuvos švietimo ir mokslo profesinÄ— sÄ…junga – LŠMPS) is the largest trade union umbrella organisation for education employees trade unions in Lithuania with about 11 000 members and with over 25% unionization rate.
LESTU is the only education trade union organisation in Lithuania uniting workers in all fields of
education, ranging from pre-primary teachers to lecturers and researchers in universities and vocational school teachers. LESTU is politically independent and in dialogue with employers and is deeply committed to influencing the education policy formatted by the Government, Parliament.
At the state level, the LESTU via Parliamentary Education Council gives the recommendations to the government in all fields of education concerning design and implement the ECEC, general education, VET, HE and AL policies and initiatives.

LESTU has strong cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Sports and Science and the Qualifications and VET Development Centre, striving to ensure the developments of the Lithuanian lifelong learning system correspond to the needs of the economy as well as the society.
POMOC DECI UDRUZENJE GRADJANA

Pomoc deci (CYSO Children and Youth Support Organisation) is a Serbian NGO established as a local NGO in 2004. Prior to that, for a year and a half, it operated as a Serbian office of an American NGO Christian Children’s Fund Inc (now ChildFund International).

Their mission is to create an environment of hope and respect for children and youth, where they
have opportunities to achieve their full potential and to provide children, youth, parents, and communities with practical tools for a positive change. It is a developmental organization with rich experience in analyzing the situation in the field, and developing and executing long-term projects and programs. Since its establishment, Pomoc deci has been working together with other NGOs and developing their skills through a learning-by-doing approach.

Pomoc Deci has five main programmatic fields of work:
1. Improvement of the rights and education of ethnic minorities (Roma children, youth and their parents mainly);
2. Prevention of children and youth related violence;
3. Mobilisation and capacity building of local and minority NGOs;
4. Mobilisation of youth to become active change makers;
5. Environment protection.
